Campari Milano Liqueur Alcoholic liqueur, considered an apéritif, obtained from the infusion of herbs and fruit in alcohol and water. For over 150 years, Campari has been a favorite liqueur for drinkers with different tastes. The liquid is a dark red color and is often mixed with other alcohols and non-alcoholic drinks for cocktails. The drink was created in 1860.
The most common ways to drink Campari are in cocktails, with prosecco or with soda water. While you can drink it neat, many have trouble with the bitter taste. Because of this, many of the mixed drinks that use Campari are strong flavored as well.
